In some MUD, some items have black color which exactly is same as background, so it won't be visible on output window. However if we change background to different color, it is still not visible. The same problem can be solved in zmud by adjusting font color. But there is not option in Mushclient to change font color. Do I miss someting in mushclient or it is designed in that way?

Well the MUD sends down the text colour, right? Otherwise some things would not be black and some not. So there isn't much point in specifying a text colour.

However in the ANSI colour configuration you can change the background colour to be something other than black. Click on "black" (top left colour) and change the colour to be something else.

I did exactly what you described before I raised the question on this forum. But the black item (which is in ansi color [30m) are still invisible. It is annoying that I carry something on me that I can not see it unless I copy and paste it out.

The other thing to try is to change the default colour. Try clicking on the box "Use Custom Colour 16 as default". Then change to the "Custom Colour" configuration page and make Custom Colour 16 background colour something that is not quite black (like gray, or dark blue).

I presume the MUD doesn't actually send "black on black" for your item. What it probably is doing is sending "ANSI reset", which MUSHclient normally responds to by switching the background colour to black. But if you check that box, it sets the background colour to custom colour 16 background instead.
