Is that true every mud server send the ATCP message?(i mean that i could got those hide information such as room num)?
I tested that ATCP_NJG plugin on my localhost MUD server,But failed.
How to enable or ensure my MUD server's ATCP?
Thank you!

No, not every MUD uses ATCP. In fact, very few do. I know the Iron Realms games can (Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, Lusternia, Midkemia), possibly Aardwolf (or do they use GMCP?), and at least a couple others. But other than that handful, ATCP's pretty rare.

And it doesn't come stock with any codebase I'm familiar with. (I'm not familiar with any of them, but that's beside the point. :D)

Thank you ,Twisol.
Things maybe become trouble,i couldnt got the unique room number. Such as a couples of rooms in a maze those have same names, descs, and exits.

Aardwolf supports both ATCP and GMCP, as well as its own protocol (102).

I'm aware of at least 30 muds that support ATCP, but I don't know any that support only ATCP - ElephantMUD supports ZMP and ATCP, and all the others use either GMCP or MSDP as their primary protocol with ATCP as a fallback.

Revision 285 of the TBA codebase includes it as stock.

ATCP for Achaea does not send the room number as a specific variable but if they send you the link for the map you can yank it out of that.

If you're playing any IRE or Aardwolf I suggest GMCP. Aardwolf supports GMCP and so does Achaea. I know because my GMCP control for Achaea is hacked from Lashers for Aardwolf.

Aardwolfs GMCP is better from what I can tell in what it sends you but Achaea's isn't bad.
