Hello!

I am having some difficulties with the MUSHclient. My problem is that I want to define my own macros, but the macros dialog will only let me choose of a set of predefined macros. I am aware that many threads on this topic already exist and I've read them all, unfortunately I didn't know what to make of the information given in these threads, as my programming skills are basically nonexistent. I use the latest Aardwolf client and I want to use vikeys (zuhjklbn) for my movement, as I am used to them from NetHack and other roguelikes. My idea was to hold down the Ctrl key and use them for navigation. Is that even possible? I fear I would have to let go of the Ctrl key and press it again followed by a movement key to move again. If you are not familiar with the concept of vikey movement, here is a little graphic explaining it: http://www.roguelikedevelopment.org/archive/files/misc/EpyxRogueDOSManual/vikeys.png

Thanks and I hope you understand what I mean.

It's generally good forum etiquette to share the solution you found when posting that you found one.

I'll just leave this here:

Also, since you're using the Aardwolf package, did you know there's a project wiki that has a page on Macros?
