| Hey everyone! I just got a new laptop and I was looking to install MUSHclient on it, but for some reason the link to download the installer never opens on any of the browsers I tried. I tried it on my desktop too, which already has it installed, and it still doesn't work there either (even though it obviously worked in the past). I'd hoped to save the installer to a USB and transfer it to my laptop.
Does anyone else have an issue with the installer? Or, better yet, does anyone have any suggestions or a file share for version 5.06? I started to try figuring out how to install from Github, but it seemed like it'd be quite a task. Thanks so much for any help! | Top |

| Thank you for the suggestion! It's strange, I tried Firefox, Edge, and Chrome on my laptop before and it didn't work. When I got home from my trip, I only thought to try on my regular browser Brave, and it didn't work. However, it's working fine on my desktop with Chrome and Firefox.
Sorry for the waste of time. I'm not sure why it's not working with Brave, but the problem's resolved in my mind. | Top |

| I would suggest checking to make sure "any" installer works in general, just as a test. I have heard rumor of a few people whose antivirus, or even Windows' own virus checking has gone rogue on them somehow decides that, "All downloads are from dangerous places and should just be deleted for the user's safety."
Its rare, but there has been at least one Youtube computer expert with a vid on this happening, and having to try to work out what the heck was causing it. | Top |
