Asmodeus,

I apologize but I had to ask. Does the mud you are
working on support have MSP? And if it does, have
you downloaded the required sound files for you mud?

Have you checked to be sure you have the most recent DirectX drivers? Have you tested the individual files to ensure that none of them have been corrupted? Have you checked to be sure the MSP script is actually reading the directory where your MU* MSP files actually are instead of the default directory for the script?

If you can answer 'yes' to all of these questions (or they dont apply to you), then Nick would probably be your best source of info on this and you'll just have to be patient until he can answer your questions.

Can you be more specific about the error message? Did you read the plugin directions? Specifically it says:

The plugin is configured to look for them in c:\mushclient\msp, but you can change that by typing:

set_msp_path new_path

eg.

set_msp_path d:\muds\mushclient\msp

Did you download the sounds and put them in a directory, and then tell the plugin which directory it was?
