Here is a method of quickly finding a script function in the new help file (see recent post for where to get that).

First, press F1 to open the help screen

Then click on the "Index" button, or press Alt+I. You will then see this:

Type "func" to scroll you down to the word "Functions". This is "group" topic, you can see the start of the function list below it.

You can now either simply scroll down to the function in question, or press <enter> to open a new scrolling box:

Now scroll down to find the function you want, or type the first few letters of its name and the list will scroll for you.
