By the way, the script is:

| I downloaded the scrcode or srccode or whatever it is called, and encoded the script alright, but when I put it into a plugin it simply didn't seem to decode it, it just objected to the encoded text.
Is that what happened to you?
BTW - have you tried using Greek letters in Unicode? Does it work? |

| I moved your Unicode response to the Unicode thread.
No, MUSHclient is just using the Vbscript.Encode engine, as you requested. The error seems to be from the script engine. Perhaps it doesn't work inside scripts, only web pages.
Anyway, I did what you wanted, it isn't my fault that Microsoft's script engine isn't working. ;)
In any case I still think that the idea won't really work. Whilst searching for the encoder I came across dozens of sites that offered small programs that would decode encoded scripts. So, if you wrote a script, and tried to charge money for it, and someone didn't want to pay, they would find the decoder, so I don't think you are much better off. |

| | True, Microsoft states that the encoder will only prevent casual viewing of scripts... It's really handy if you want to distribute a script to other people but you don't want them to copy the source code or see how it works... I'll test it some more and see what's going on... |
