| | I've just compiled the whole thing and gotten it up and running today. I had it running earlier, and the 'quit' command was working just fine. I started to customize things (changed the name of the mud in the system file, and inserted the imotd) and then I went to quit, and it logs me out of the game, but does not disconnect me. I had a friend log in from his computer and try it, and it does not disconnect him, either. I removed the files (thinking it was something I did) and unzipped the whole thing again and recompiled it, starting from scratch, but the 'quit' problem persists. Any idea how to remedy this? Thanks! | | Top |

| | I've found this happens sometimes to me, and from what I can tell its the server. I'm getting the quit message, and everything else works like normal, but I do not get the "disconnected from server" message. Is this similiar to whats happening to you? |

| | Yep, this is exactly what's happening. So it's nothing wrong with the code at all? | | Top |

| | I compiled the 1.4a with mxp added for Unix/Cygwin, and I used Cygwin to compile it. | | Top |
