Heh. Nick.. This appears to be free:

It supposedly lets DCOM work under Linux. I assume that means it may enable it in WINE as well and the it could provide the ability to run MUSHclient in all its glory.

If not, then it seems that the equivalent technology under Linux is called CORBA. Whether or not there are CORBA enabled script engines and applications that would allow porting with at least 'some' chance of MUSHclient running right I have no idea, but both of these are something to look into I think. ;)
