everything I try lacks a good overhead mapping system

Can you explain this point? A number of MUDs these days support overhead mapping.

or close player base

Player base closeness is not a feature of the codebase, though.

Noticed a few people were looking for LoC. You guys can drop me a line if you are still interested. I had been planning on putting it up shortly.

This is Zyania77 from Loc. I have the means to host and get LoC running. High bandwidth, dedicated server, whatever it takes. I can get it going immediately if the code is complete.

BERN -- Drop me a line. You might know me from another name that I won't post here.

Denigsto - Yo. Drop me a line.

There appears that there was a bug introduced in the forum software during recent improvements. This affected sending mail via the forum.

It should have been fixed just now, so please try again.

Thanks! Boy am I embarrassed. I had assumed this forum was legacy (ish) and assumed no one was actively monitoring it. Way to be on top of things and please accept my full retraction of "stupid forum" statement.

That's OK, bugs can slip through in parts of a system which people don't actively use. :)

So many familiar nicknames...

So does anyone have a functional LoC Version or what?

Any updates on LoC coming back online or sharing the code? I'm very interested.

Be well,
