| It's been awhile now--is MUSHclient still being worked on? What's in progress? There seems to be a rather long list of suggestions out there, and even though I haven't come across any bugs, it'd still be nice to see new things every once in awhile. :) | Top |

| What tends to happen with MUSHclient development is that every year (around March) I go into a frenzy of adding a whole batch of new features (suggestions) and fix any outstanding bugs/problems.
This takes a couple of months, and then another month or so of testing with beta-testers.
Then the new version is released, and any bugs that slipped by me or the beta-testers are fixed, and we "stabilise" for a while.
I would rather do changes in a batch than be releasing new versions every week, all year, as some developers do, as then MUSHclient users are constantly having to download new versions, which can be a bit annoying.
Also I am working on other projects, so I cannot afford to be doing MUSHclient development constantly.

| I wouldn't expect stuff all the time; I'm just curious about what we can expect next time around. There any Big Plans in the works? | Top |

| What I like to do is fix outstanding annoyances - you can see what they are from the bugs database or recent forum posts.
However as far as "big things" go, I am looking at major changes like:
- MUD Sound Protocol (MSP)
- Save world files as XML to make modifying/copying them easier in a text editor
- Chat protocol support (like MudMaster chat, zChat)
- More script routines
- Customisable keyboard operations (eg. allow you to add Ctrl+Alt+X to do something you want it to)
