Okay question I'm sure everyone has heard asked a million times before, but searching the forum wasan't too successful in answering this for me.
I'v never used scripts beyond the basic triggers, aliases and speedwalks, I started with MUSHClient now, would like to crossover into using scripts for my character in this one particular MUD coded in C, though I don't know code for any of the languages supported in MUSHClient. Are there any relatively easy and fast ways to get into some scripting basics?, maybe libraries or archives of script files and templates I can pick apart for? Or editors that I'd be able to get into without having much outside knowledge of what has to be done beyond the muds commands and what an idea of what I need to do. Not quite sure where to begin here.
Thanks-
Rk

The download of MUSHclient comes with example scripts in VBscript, Jscript and PerlScript. These cover quite a few examples. Also, there are various posts here of scripting triggers, aliases and timers.

Try looking at the example files, and searching for words like "script" and "trigger" on this forum.

If that doesn't help, give a more specific example of what you are trying to do. eg. Make a script to make something happen 10 seconds after a certain event.

There are scripts on this forum for auto walkers, auto rollers and various other things.
