| Hello :)
I just downloaded 4.24 and started using it and I notice that if I click the output screen of a separate world and try to type, I can't. No text shows in the command line. I have to hit tab to do it, or click the command line itself. Just wondering if this was by design or something I'm not doing correctly because it worked fine like that in 4.12. Oh, I guess it could have something to do with the slew of errors I got when installing 4.24 which ended with me 'ignore'ing them and continuing with the install anyway. Hope this is a common problem! | | Top |

| Go to File -> Global Preferences -> General and check "All typing goes to the command window".
Otherwise you have to press <tab> to move the focus to the command window if it is in the output window.
There shouldn't have been any errors, can you copy and paste what they were? |

| thanks. what i did originally was downloaded 4.24 and installed it in mushclient2 directory b/c mushclient 4.12 was already installed. I tried right now to uninstall MC 4.24 and reinstall it to see what the error messages were but that was a bad idea and the errors didn't repeat themselves anyway. but there were several, and i remember plugins.xml was one of the things which failed to install and i opted ignored it.
anyway, thanks for the help.
p.s. great forum btw. i havent posted in a long, long time and when i do i get a response within 1-2hours as usual. :) | | Top |
