I am a huge fan of MUSHClient, and I just wonder if there is any possibility of a Linux port in the future?

I have been asked that a few times, and the answer is "at some stage, probably".

The Linux/Unix development tools are improving, so porting it mightn't be as hard in a couple of years. I am waiting for them to become a bit more mature (I am referring to the X tools, eg. gnome, kde, which support full-screen programs like MUSHclient).
