| Yes, that one is what set me off. ;)
The problem is partly that if I am asleep, on holiday, or out for the day, spam can go unchecked for a while. There are a couple of moderators but they can only delete spam in specific parts of the forum.
This system should allow for spam to be promptly deleted, regardless of the time of day, or who is on the forum. |

Let's wait and see shall we? Too low a figure and it could be exploited by someone and a couple of friends mounting a denial of service attack. Or, you might find a couple of people taking exception to posts that the vast majority don't mind.
I will be interested to see, after getting the next lot of genuine spam, how long it takes to be voted down. I think we will find that there are quite a few regular visitors each day, who would be instrumental in dealing with spam promptly. Also, if I happen to see it (even before the 5 votes) then it will be removed immediately. |

I agree entirely, I really like the look of this approach and would love to see it (maybe admin configurable) added to QSFP.
