That's exactly what would have happened before.

And that is what plugins are for. Make a plugin, put your triggers in that, and if you change a trigger they all get the new one.

I am pretty sure this would have been the same for preloading defaults as well. I am not sure what you expect to happen.

Just open the original, and do a "save as", effectively making a copy.

"Preload world defaults" exhibited dangerous and nonintuitive behavior and was removed. If you want to make new worlds, copy the world files.

example:
I have 10 id in the same mud.In muschclient 4.73, i can
use New World-->Preload world defaults from an existing world(yes)-->choose the same xxx.mcl.
but in mushclient 4.79,can not!!
who can tell how to load the same mcl in mushclient 4.79
