It's only redirecting the command-line messages to a separate log file (<pennmush folder>/logs/netmush.log). When you see this, you can safely close the command window and connect to your server via a real telnet client using "localhost:<port specified in mush.cnf>".
I got a Win9x setup and installed by unzipping, put the two system files in their places, and put the minimal database in. Now I run the pennmush.exe, it says something about redirecting output and then runs pennmuush_run... no other messages appear. It seems the command window is running something so I try to connect local... nothing... won't connect. I realize I'm doing something wrong. Help?
