Not a bad idea, but how would I get MUSHclient to load the new settings whilst I'm still online? ;)

Considering that the world file is just an XML document, it wouldn't be too outrageous for a 3rd party to write a configuration solution, which could have as big and fancy a dialog as you like. :)

I know all too well what a pain it can be to re-size a dialog, especially one with a lot of controls on it. My suggestion would be to keep the general config stuff for the world in a fixed dialog and move the macros, aliases, triggers, and variables into a totally new dialog or view that is modeless and re-sizeable with a sort of Explorer-like feel to it. (I'm still hoping for nestable groups, too, though.)

Resizing is fiddly because all those buttons have to be moved too. :) However it could conceivably be done. I see what you mean as you get bigger monitors (I just got a larger LCD screen) and it looks kind of silly to have a tiny dialog box when you have 3/4 of the screen still available.

I would like to see the configuration dialogs updated completely, personally. I think they can be redone to separate out things like macros, aliases, triggers, etc into their own configuration with an Explorer-like view. It would be so nice to have groups within groups and be able to organize my settings in an easier-to-find fashion. It's a bit of a pain now to update things even with the sort and find features, and the "grouped" settings don't really seem to fit with the general world settings. At the very least, I'm hoping that some of the dialogs will be made modeless so I can have them open and still be able to respond to my game.

True - and I have done that, having moved sequence to the end.

Then I resized and can see the label and group columns - however at the expense of being able to see as much of the send column as I'd like.

It's workable - just not optimum for me. Hence my suggestion.

It's not gonna stop me registering, by any stretch of the imagination - just a minor irritant (from my perspective) which Nick may or may not chose to investigate. <g>

You can rearrange those columns.

I haven't registered yet - I want to be sure I can do what I want to do with MC before I lash out. So it might seem a bit tacky to make a suggestion - but here it is anyway <g>:

I'd like to be able to resize (or at least maximize) the Configuration dialog. Specifically I've got a number of long triggers with a lot of text in the send box, so I'm forever having to slide sideways to see the label and group columns. It'd be easier if I could max the window.
