-Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot?
Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens
It's a dumb question... skip it.
Only Nick knows for sure which algorithm is used to encrypt the passwords. It has to be a retrievable format since it gets sent to the MUD. I looked at the file format and my guess is that he uses something relatively simple, because the encrypted password isn't very long; besides, it's probably meant to prevent only casual observers from finding the password.

Heh, yeah... if you knew these people you wouldn't want to ask anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. They're actually not the most friendly of people. Thankfully they don't interfere much with the gameplay itself.
I decided to get back into this MOO that I haven't played for some time now. My password is still stored in the world file, and I can still log in, but I would like to know what the password is. I've tried my old passwords, and none of them work, but I don't exactly know why I would've come up with a completely new password for this game. I know the passwords are encrypted in the world file, but I don't know how to decrypt them. How might I be able to do this?
