ok i got it to work i went and opened iXplorer and deleted the player file and just tranfered my player file into the server but that was not working i guess it does not copy empty folders over to the server but either way i put a notepad file in each file a,b.c etc.etc. then i copied all the files over and it is working so i think i got everything working properly now

allthough i do have one question i want to make a build port and a play port would i do this by first having the one mud allready as my playport then just copy a new entire thing into the server again and just changing the port to the other one i have and then run it then it would run play port on 8720 and build port on 8719

no, don't compile it under cygwin on your windows box first, just copy the file smaug16fuss.tgz to your home directory on the server and then follow the instructions I posted for you, should work just fine, if the host doesn't have g++ installed or makedepend installed we'll be able to know from the errors you get (and tell us about) but the odds are pretty good that your host does have both of those and it will go rather smoothly.

ok i download smaugfuss 1.6 from smaugfuss.org and put it in the cygwin hom file then i open cygwin type tar xvzf smaug16fuss.org then i go to src type make then i type logout open iXplorer and transfer the smaugfuss file to the server then i log on to the server through putty and go to src and type make clean then type make and that should compile it so i should see a binary folder but the only thing i see is smaug.exe but when i try to startup it never works properly so i need help from where i log in to put move to src and compile because the system admin said it never compiled right

Gorock, I don't think I understand, you said that you've got a hosted account, which explains putty and pueblo, but if the account is hosted (I'm assuming on a linux server), then why do you have/need cygwin?

Assuming the mud is on your hosted account which is on a linux server, use Putty to log into your account on the server and:
uncompress the smaug16fuss.tgz file by typing
tar -xvf smaug16fuss.tgz

then do
cd smaug/src
make

when that's done, you should be able to do
./startup &

Then you should be able to log into the mud with Pueblo
