Thanks alot Nick. This new change will be appreciated, I'm sure.

By the way, my PHP scripting is coming along quite well, I've auto-added over 400 items to my database and the other players in my guild seem quite impressed. Thanks for all your wondeful help.

No it doesn't exist yet.

Not a bad idea, I have added that as a trigger option in version 3.72. Basically in the trigger dialog box, next to choosing a colour change, you can now choose whether the change is applied to the text, the background, or both.

For all I know this may already exist... Sorry if it does.

It would be nice to be able to "highlight" things with certain triggers without losing the strings pretty colors.

In the custom color panel you could have a 'no change' option for the text color variable. This way when the trigger is fired it only change the background behind the text and the text colors remain as-sent from the mud.
