Well, given the fact that "group" is traditionally a status trigger, grouping them then ungrouping them would have the same functionality without any additional coding. Another option would be to write a nofollow char config option that would disable the ability for anyone else to follow them.

That would be useful, but I'd much rather have the 'lose' command. I'm thinking in a situation where someone is following a group, and being obnoxious. The group doesn't want to disband every time the lil guy follow's 'em =(

LOL! Much easier then I thought it was going to be. It seems the majority of the code was already there for me.

open up act_comm.c
find do_follow

below this bit of code at the top of do_follow..

if ( arg[0] == '\0' )
{
send_to_char( "Follow whom?\n\r", ch );
return;
}

add this..

if ( !strcmp(arg, "self") )
{
CHAR_DATA *fch;
for ( fch = first_char; fch; fch = fch->next )
{
if ( fch->master == ch )
stop_follower( fch );
if ( fch->leader == ch )
fch->leader = fch;
}
return;
}

save, make clean, enjoy ;-)

Now all you have to do, to stop *everyone* from following you is type 'follow self'.

Although I don't have the code at this point. I have thought of adding something similar myself. So, maybe I'll take this opportunity to help us both out. Personally I was going to write a command to stop *all* followers. Is this what you are looking for? or were you wanting to pick a specific follower to "lose"?

Hello =)
I'm looking for a code that will stop someone from following you. I believe there's a lose snippet out there but I can't find it. I've visited people who have said it's on their webpag (on other forums) but I've searched and could not find it T.T if anyone can help me, please reply =)
