er.. yeah. You'd have to add a seperate item type for watches, and then a check for that in do_examine though.
It's not something you can do as a builder, you need code access :P

I'm not sure - you really need to find what time_prog does in SMAUG, look at the code for instance.

Hey,

As the heading says i am curious about the time_prog command. I have read the one post about having a mob goto sleep at a certain time, so okay that make sense to me.

Then i started thinking, is it possible to have a pocket watch display the current time in the game by using the time_prog command? Seeing as my coding skills are not the best i have drawn a major big blank on this one. If it helps any, i am using area editor 130 and 131 to do most of my building at this point.

And yeah, i know one can type time to see the time...i just figured this would add some fun and atmosphere to the game.
