I've been looking everywhere - including pennmush.org :) I'm in the process of digging through a few tutorials, so perhaps the light shall dawn.

Thanks! :)

I'm not familiar with the places code, but I haven't looked at PennMUSH for a while. :)

Have you looked around at http://www.pennmush.org/ ?

They are the main support site for PennMUSH, and may well have the answers there.

First of all - much thanks goes to those who've made PennMUSH so readily available.

I've downloaded version 1.7.6 p13 for Windows (currently running on WIn98). A few questions have come up.

I would like to use the Places code to create the standard tavern with tables players can Join, use table talk and generally populate the room bit more easily.

Has this code already been merged into my version of PennMUSH? I've found packets of the Places/Mutter code adapted for earlier versions, I wasn't sure if it had been eventually incorporated. If so - if there a FAQ out there for using and building with this code?

If the code has not been incorporated, and I need to install an adapted packet, is the process simply to @tel to the Master Room and cut/paste the Places/Mutter code straight from the text file and drop the code object there? Is there a FAQ describing the method for installing new global objects like this?

I've done my share of web searches and have come up with little. I have no problem with stumbling my way through the process, I just want to make sure that I'm stumbling in the right direction ;)

Thank you very much in advance.
