You'd be better off looking at the fireworks plugin, and a few others that people have made.
They're all examples of external windows with plugins/script file.

And you can search the forum on why responding to events of an external window doesn't really work.

using Nick's idea for the healthbar, i have been working on an external window, mostly an external info bar...

im really newbie in VB, but it wasnt hard to learn how to change the VB window settings from a MC pluggin... but now i was wondering if i could change MC pluggins settings ( maybe calling subs ) from the VB window.
