If it doesn't work please post the exact name of the source file - there are more than one there.

I just downloaded the source from your site without MXP. I'm going to try again from the home directory but I have a feeling the errors I get won't be fixed that way.

I normally am in my home (nick) folder and untar everything from there.

I'll try again tomorrow. Please confirm exactly which file you have downloaded, so I know I am using the same file.

Is it smaug1.4a_mxp.tgz?

I've downloaded the newest cygwin as well as completely blank source code. I've tried the fixes you have and still end up with quite a bit of errors. I'm still getting re_exec warnings and I have both lines commented and now I'm getting an implicit re_exec error that is completly stopping the compile instead of waiting till the end before it stops everything. Even with the changes to the makefile and other files I still get problems with Crypt and also a problem with RENAME which like everyone else I don't know where it comes from.

I just downloaded the new cygwin as of saturday I beleive and finally after about three hours I got everything I needed.

Well... Maybe it's where I have the source at. Do you have to have the source in your home/usrname folder under Cygwin or does it not matter?

Thanks for any help,

Creep
