| Hello,
I have read the suggestions on how to setup MXP on SMAUG and ROM. I guess I am either reading to much into it or not enough not sure. Anyone have a suggestion where i can find information on how to install it on an LP mud server it would be great. Would love to get it working. I am moving over an old mud from the early 90's to a new mudlib. The mud has died pretty much want to add new features and sounds and build a client for it try and attach players.

| Thanks for the reply. I have been coding for few years, never got into more then the area coding. I have never really fooled with mudlibs main code and that is what I am doing now trying to learn as much as possible.I guess i am trying to do this at the wrong time in life when most of the examples and information no longer exist. I looking at your site and my problem is figuring out what files i would need to edit it to work for LPmuds. I will try your suggestion and look on google. Thought I had tried just about every combination looking for something to put mxp on lpmud servers.
Anyway thanks again for your help.

That is what stumps me. But I knowl lp mudlibs is totally different from SMAUG and or ROM.
Any help in this would be much appreciated, but I understand if your not familiar with LP mudlibs.

| Can you tell me which LP mud, exactly, you are working from? I don't want to put a lot of work into looking into one of the LPmud variants, only to find you are using a different one.

| Sure, I am using Dead Souls 3.0 mudlib with fluffOS driver.
I do know the driver supports MXP.

I don't really understand what you want here. You say you have a driver that supports MXP, but you want to add it? Do you mean more specifically, how, inside the existing driver, you add MXP stuff?
If that is the case, I really have no knowledge of LP Muds in general, or this one in particular. Judging by the silence from other forum users, neither does anyone else here.
As David said, you may be better off asking on their forum, or there may be documentation that came with the driver that explains how to use the MXP stuff. |
