The Info Bar doesn't expand as it fills up with text. I've got room for about two info bars in my display. Is there a ways to increase the length of the Info Bar programmatically?

I would ditch the InfoBar, and move into miniwindows.

You can make them any size (eg. two lines of text) and include graphics (like bars). You can make them dock to the bottom of the screen. You can shrink the output window text size to make room for them. So basically, the InfoBar is old technology.
