| I tend to use the Trigger, Alias, and Timer menu's for scripting a lot. As I don't like having to dig in menu's to find those links, nor click around to get to them that much, I use the Ctrl+Shift+# shortcuts a lot. The shortcuts for Triggers and Aliases works just fine, but the shortcut for timers (+0) doesn't work. I thought it was my keyboard/setup on my desktop, but I just recently purchased a new laptop, and still have the problem on it. It might still be related to my settings, but even with the latest 4.92, I still can't get it to pull up via the keyboard shortcut. Of course, I can get to one of the other menus and click to it, so this isn't broken, just a little annoying.
Thanks for giving us such a wonderful tool to use. | Top |

| It works on my PC running Windows XP. Do you have any accelerators set (Accelerator function)? That might be overriding it. Otherwise check if that key combination is in use by Windows somehow.
See here for example:

I quote:
Quote:
An input method editor (IME) keyboard shortcut lets you switch the input language. By design, the CTRL+SHIFT+0 key assignment is standard for all users. However, some applications might use this keyboard shortcut for other purposes. In this case, the application will not work as expected when you use the shortcut with the application.

| Thank you for this. Apparently, the Windows default options to change between languages is Ctrl+Shift (as your link shows). Changing the setting as directed fixed my issue (though the location for that menu is in a different spot on Windows 8).
I also believe this worked fine on any Windows XP computer I used before, so this must be a new update from Vista onwards. Might be useful as a link to keep handy (though I must be the only person to have bothered with doing things this way).
Again, thank you. | Top |
