| Hi there
I have a blank line coming up a few seconds after a command. For example after looking at a room, a few seconds later a blank line - almost like a carriage return occurs.
As you can imagine a bit annoying!
I'm running MUSHClient with Aardwolf plug in on Wine on a Mac.
Any tips would be appreciated!

| There are some lines in Aardwolf that are "tagged", caught by triggers, and omitted (eg. room names). However a side-effect is sometimes that prompt lines cause an additional newline to appear.
Fiendish might be able to suggest a solution, but there is a plugin (Omit_Blank_Lines) that ships with the client. You could add that (File menu -> Plugins -> Add) and then all blank lines will be omitted. |

| Thanks Nick that did help, but i suspect it might actually be repeating the line.
For example if i run the "who" command, the line at the bottom just keeps repeating for some reason, if i leave it it will just fill the screen with the "Paging:" line. This line has text - so it seems to be a line repeat issue rather than a carriage return or blank line issue.
Weird! I'll keep playing around!

| Strange. Do you have the latest Aardwolf client (from their site)? It might be a Wine issue. |

| Type "pagesize 0". Server-side paging is an abomination and breaks everything. |

| I agree. Every time I try a new MUD and have to keep "pressing Enter" to read the help information, I immediately try to find out how to disable paging.
Server-side paging is a throw-back to about 30* years ago, when everyone had dumb terminals. It should be off by default. Or removed completely.
* Or maybe 40 years. OMFG! |
