Would be nice to have one downloadable file containing all the stuff about Mush Client scripting, rather than browsing through the html-version. I'm still using a modem and would like to cut my on-line time to minimum.

The problem with that, is that the commands change all the time.

What you CAN do (Im just going to assume you use IE, if you use Netscape, you wont(?) be able to use these instructions, but Im sure there's something comperable on most browsers.

Make the Link (The link to the "list of inbuilt COM functions") and make it one of your favorites, then open your favorites (the side window thing) and scroll down to it, right click on it, and click "make availiable offline". It'll prompt you for a few things, Ive found 1 deep is enough, if you want the links within themselves to work (itll take a lot longer) 2 links deep will do that (I assume). It'll take a little while to go through each page and such, and not all of them do get downloaded (dont ask me why, I honestly havent a clue) but, most do. And There you have your Pseudo-Help File Like "Downloadable" COM functions!

And yes, there is always the (painfully) outdated help file that comes with MushClient.

Oh yeah, for all of the VScript stuff, There's a link somewhere, you can download (yes, an actual download) the Vscript documentation from microsoft, so you know can do that as well as Mushclient functions.

I don't know if this is what you want, but I actually spent 6 hours redoing the layout for the functions like the java api. If you want it, then email me... (this one is unoffical, maybe I should ask Gammon if it permissible)

Send me a copy too if you like. If it looks reasonably accurate I'll post a copy here. The reason it is on the database however is that as I add more functions a static page tends to get out-of-date.

Faolong has done an incredibly well laid-out offline version of the MUSHclient scripting calls (as at version 3.26). It is available as a single zip archive, which you can unzip into a folder, and then double-click on 'index.html' to see the full effect.

This lets you quickly look up scripting functions without waiting for web pages to load (via the Internet).

You can download it by HTTP or FTP (182 Kb).

Thanks!
