i am using 3.30 and i swear that's like the only font that isn't working because a g is just g and not the dark block and a Y is just a Y and not the heart.... etc... has anybody got the webdings to work or do i just need to install something?? and i even tried to put the webdings font in the font folder under the mushclient folder!!! ahh this sucks so bad.. that screenshot of the infobar looked so good..

Arrrrgghhh!

That was happening to me until I changed an obscure option, and then it worked.

It seems that Windows trys to "help" you, because even though WebDings doesn't have a "g" (but a graphic instead) unless you are careful it says "you entered a 'g' so you must want a 'g' and I'll change to another font and find one for you".

I can't see how this is very useful, as you are using Webdings for a reason, and the reason is you want the graphic and not the 'g'.

Anyway, I'll try a different option, and see if that helps.

As you can see from my earlier screen dump, it worked for me.

Before I change anything, one little question. Do you actually have WebDings installed? Try finding it on the font menu (eg. Output configuration -> Font).

OK, I've changed the character set from "default" to "symbol" which will hopefully work for you, but still work for ordinary fonts as well.
