| I cannot get my Pages & Whispers to fire properly . They go off ok , but also when the page is mid-sentence .
I tried using the ^(.*) to isolate to the front , they dont work at all if I do .
Why are the help files written as if the reader is a programmer ? I'm not . I'm a hardware tech !

| We could help you much better if you provide examples. Post a few lines from the mud, including the one you would normally trigger on, and a line that is giving you problems.
Use the "copy" feature from the triggers screen to copy the trigger in question, then "paste" it here in your forum posting so that we can see the exact nature of your issue.
In the meantime, keep in mind that triggers can only match a single line, and the line must have a "return" code or else it is considered an unfinished line. |
