I want to hilight certain text when it comes up not the whole line, who do i do this.

ex.

A really really big sword...it hums softly

how can i highlight just the 'it hums softly'...

its not at the beginning of the line, and i only want it to highlight that part of it....will this actually work?

Regular expressions will only colour the word (or text) that matches. However if the regular expression matches the whole line, the whole line will be coloured. In your example it should work.

it does sort of work....the whole line is blue to start, then i want to change the glowing part to yellow, which it does but then the whole line goes to the default grey colour but the end does turn yellow....any way to keep the line at the color it comes in at?

Huh? Sounds like you have more than one trigger. The line should stay at the colour it arrived at unless you change it.
