| ok well now I have a biger probelm the instalation program itself gets this ( the setup.exe file is linked to missing export kernel32.dll ) i know this isent exacoly a mud thing but it is stoping me from installing most things any help would be apeceated expesholy since I dont know what it means | Top |

| I wouldn't do that, the kernel is probably different for each operating system.
Sounds like you are running setup the wrong way. eg. you are running setup from within Windows 98 (or whatever) when you should be booting from the CD.
You should be able to boot directly from the setup CD, you may need to change the PC BIOS settings to enable this. |

| ok I have the dll file it just seems that the files cant find it for some reason by the way I have windows ME whene i first download the files they seem work fine but if i reboot or log off my user they stop working and get a funy blue and whight icon ive tryed to replyce it but it is file proteckted thats all the info i rember for now i will give you more if i can remeber but thatnx for your time :}
