i have truble connecting to world ravenmud with my server , however if i change my server (use some one else's on my comp)i have no probs getting on .
my server (optusnet) tells me that there is an unresolver prob between the world bb8.betterbox.net and them , can this be resolved or am i nolonger to play this world on my pc ?

This is an isp or betterbox issue, not a MC issue. Most likely this is a betterbox issue and the machine that hosts the mud you are attempting to connect to is down.
