Just purchased (online, have to send the money as yet), The AreaEditor. My questions are: I've noticed some features don't work in unregistered (understandable), what about the errors when I make experimental rooms and I get "sn -1", etc. (skill or spell) not found. Will all the skills and spells work when I get a registration code?

Also, death sounds are missing as well (exscuse the lack of technical terms).

P.S. I like the Editor, it has helped me understand the code and it makes building less tedious.

It reads the skills and spells from your own skills.dat file - that should work now. Are you reading in the correct file (or any file)? That is part of the preferences under the File menu.

I don't know about death sounds - never heard of it, and it isn't in the registered version. However if that is a separate file, no it isn't. However you just use it for the files it supports (area files, skills, socials, commands).

It doesn't edit rarely-changed files like races, clans, system etc.
