| If I'm running SMAUG server, what version of file should I be saving my files as in the AreaEditor? I've read up some what on this subject but still unsure about version conflicts, etc. |

| The earlier version of SMAUG (1.04) wrote out "version 0" area files. Somewhat confusingly, the newer version (1.40) uses "version 1" area files. So, if you are using the recent versions, save as version 1. This has the extra stuff like climate, economy, neighbours and so on. |
