I notice that starting with version 3.48, when 'Reconnect on disconnect' is enabled, I get a popup window for each failed attempt to reconnect, and must click off each one. On my system, this can be as many as 20+ popups within a minute. Would it be possible for the code to detect when there is already a popup open and not create more, or alternatively to add a check box similar to the one for 'Show connect/disconnect message' to disable this feature?

There is a "Notify me if unable to connect" checkbox in the options window which you can uncheck, and it won't notify you any more.
