| Is the forum supposed to use cookies to save me from having to log in every time i visit the forum? Because it doesn't, I have to log in every time I visit the forum for the first time, although it stays logged on during the session... |

| The First time you get here, it doesnt have you logged in. However, if you click a thread, it does log you in, then if you click "entire forum" again, youll be logged in with the full view. (so if you click a thread thats a few days old, your "last viewed" line is still valid, if you use it)
At least, thats how it works for me. No, you dont automatically login the first time you get here, for some reason. But the cookie is there, just not accessed yet. Not sure why, it might be different with you. Click a thread once you get here, see if you really do need to log in. |

| Ah yes, it does that now. I think I had disabled Opera's cookie handling thing in an earlier version. It would be nice if it logged us on immediately though, so I could see my last read message when I opened the forum page. |

| With me it the forums seem to periodically 'forget' I am logged in. Easy enough to use Opera's wand to reconnect, but I have actually had cases where the main forum showed me logged in, but going to a thread I suddenly got asked to login again to post. :( Something really odd going on and this is the only such web site that is supposed to remember I am logged in, without logging me out, that does this to me. | Top |
