You can find the SWR codebase(s) at:
http://www.mudmagic.com/codes/download/diku/merc/smaug/Star_Wars

SWR is written in C, and derived off of Smaug.

There are quite a few snippets for it if you follow the link Zeno suggested. Many people (like Greven and myself) have been using it for quite some time and could answer quite a few questions that you have. Just post them here and everyone here will fix ya right up. Also, if you would like more information on SWFotE (a SWR derivitve) then head on over to http://swfote.sourceforge.net . They have a forum that would be helpful as well.

There also exists a SwFoTe:FUSS version. It has all the known bugs fixed:

Hmmm where to begin in any questions... well first i wanna say thanks to all those who replyed, its nice to know people reply...

i guess the first stage i need to go through is training in how to use SWR from a builders side then code through that... im not a hardcore c coder but i got some knowledge...

it would be nice if anyone has a link to 'an idiots guide to SWR' lol but unlikly

the fact its c does help, means i might actuly understand the syntax.

I have a fair list of links on my site. They are listed for both coding and building. Hopefully you will find them useful. Just paste the link in and you should be seeing a list of 12 or so links (one being this site your on right now!).

I particularly recommend http://members.fortunecity.com/swreality/ . There is a nice FAQ there, as well as a SWR building guide, several links, areas, and the MSP files. Quite handy.
