I'm trying to figure out the stats that affect Save vs spell. Any imput or direction would be appriciated.

It all depends on the codebase (and whatever other tweaks your implementors have hacked into it).
And you can easily look at the source to figure it out (although a find in files would probably be best, search for the affecting lines specifically).

But it all depends on the codebase, so that's probably a good place to start.
