Actually, having the full 13 options that aliases do would be even more convenient. |

| This is implemented in version 4.27.
There is now an AcceleratorTo function that lets you specify where to send the text to, like DoAfterSpecial.
For example:
AcceleratorTo ("Ctrl+E", string.rep ('-', 60), 2) -- put 60 hyphens in the output window
AcceleratorTo ("Ctrl+D", "Sound ('ding.wav')", 12) -- play a ding sound
