| Arrant Destiny is back. www.admud.com port 1999. Website is under construction but game is running. Please stop by and have a look. We've been around since 1995. We are a heavily modified envy2.0 code base with many features that enhance the gameplay experience.
15 playable classes along with 14 playable races. We have over 100 races throughout the realm as mobs. Quests for players as well as new areas going in. We do not enforce roleplaying but believe it enhances the game play experience.

| If you have access to the server to run the MUD, it would probably be good to change the website from the shutdown notice to an under construction notice (and perhaps provide the connection information as well). |

I agree, but I dont have access to all that. Unfortunately I am just a player who thinks its a really great mud and trying to get some traffic in there. rao_mud@yahoo.com(rao_mud on YIM) is owner. Ill try to pass on your advice to him via email/messager. Thank you for input, perhaps he just over looked it. | Top |

| I was banned from arrantdestiny (admud) because I gave my Zmud code to my neighbor. Rao is very unfair! He didn't even give me a chance to explain anything. Instead he just deleted all my characters and banned my IP and my code from Zmud. I plan to have my IP changed so I can play again, but the sad part is that I have to buy the client again if I want to play and him not know who I am.
So take this as a warning if you play, don't give your code to anyone else. | Top |

The connection information you listed doesn't seem valid at this time. Can't even connect to a public port like 23. Doesn't help that the website doesn't have any information. Guess this one bite the dust. | Top |

The MUD is alive and well. Please check the information and try again. As stated before.. www.admud.com port 1999 If you have any further problems I will try to help you solve them the best I can. Thank you, Cystus | Top |

I was shown this post from the game. I am the owner of the mud, Rao. This player has been a repeated cheater in the past that recently came back to the game. For his credit he told me who he was in the past, and I let him know that I'd give him a second chance but he needed to watch himself. He did good for about a month but then started multiplaying again and bypassing newbie bans. After banning him entirely, he threatened me and my family (of which he stalked me on facebook) and continued to bypass the bans through different IPs. This player is a liar and a cheater. Sorry I had to post this, but I feel that it needed to be said. The game we have is a very fun game, and I don't want one person to spoil it for others.
We do have an active pbase, though small. We are still working on the site, but the above address is correct. We even use Nick's telnet code for hp bars, exp bars, and stats. Those can be found at admud.com/plugins. | Top |

| Maybe it's just me. I just tried to do a simple quick connect via Telnet and still can't connect, using the host and port referenced above, but don't seem to be able to get through. It will say Connecting to etc., but then just displays a blank screen. Really hoping to be able to check this out soon. | Top |

You might want to check your firewall settings, Kresslack.
The web site doesn't tell you much, though. This is the extent of it:
Home of Future Arrant Destiny Website
-Rao
Maybe worthwhile to spend a few minutes at least putting up info to encourage people to connect, and say that the MUD is alive. |
