Everytime I make any changes to my areas dealing with object layers, they never save. Any reason, or is this going to come out in a furture version?

I'm not sure what you mean by "object layers". Can you give an example?

Ok, well I use SMAUG v. 1.4a to start. When I load one of my areas into Area Editor, open say a tee shirt and click on the stats tab. I then enter a value of 1 in the layers section, down next to rent. This would allow certain objects to layer over one another. Well I enter a value, save, and reload my area and the value is reset to zero.

Hmmm, looks like a bug. I've added that as bug #460.

Is there any way to patch the program to fix this function. Maybe I'm wrong here, but I can deal with most of the other bugs that I've encountered, but this one makes the editor almsot useless once you've taken the time to change all the layers manually from within the MUD. After that, all changes need to be made in the MUD or all your work of changing the layers is lost.

Ah yes, there was a problem in that code. I have released version 3.31 which seems to fix that. :)
