i find it very frustrating when i type a partial command and hit the up arrow, and if it's not in the current history, the command line goes blank. it should just stay as is. ill bet its been reported before, but i'd just like to make sure. nick, i love your program, have been using it for for years, and when possible, i will send another donation. thanks!

It does that deliberately, because if it didn't, you couldn't use "ordinary" up-arrow to just scroll through your recent commands, without a message about "do you want to replace your typing of 'foo' with ...".
