Exception unknown software exception (0x0000096) in application address 0x5f942346.

I tried to reinstall but it crashes too.

Other applications on my PC don't crash.

I started just today. I used this app a few days ago and everything was ok.

Template:version Please help us by advising the version of MUSHclient you are using. Use the Help menu -> About MUSHclient.


If it crashes so you can't look at the menu, you can get the properties of MUSHclient.exe (using the File Explorer) and look at the "Version" tab. Or just tell us which installer you downloaded.

Which operating system are you using?

If the installer crashes, how can you test the client? Anyway, read this:

As I said, I use MUSHclient for a two months. And it worked perfectly until yesterday. So yes, both installer and client crash.

Standalone(zip) version works, thanks :/

I can't explain that. No-one has ever reported the installer crashing. You could try the latest release: http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=13691

Failing that, continue with the standalone version.
