19:30:31> this time is updated every second in same place(last line). This status is Zmud client show(Zmud version is 4.62)
-----------------------------------------------------------
But if I use mushclient connect the same mud. The last line output time is became this:
20:20:45> 20:20:45> 20:20:45> 20:20:45> 20:20:46> 20:20:46> 20:20:46> 20:20:46> 20:20:46> 20:20:47> 20:20:47> 20:20:47> 20:20:47> 20:20:47> 20:20:48> 20:20:48> 20:20:48> 20:20:48> 20:20:49> 20:20:49> 20:20:49> 20:20:49> 20:20:49> 20:20:50>

In world configuration -> Appearance -> Output check (set) the option "Carriage-return clears line".

That should fix it.

Thank you Nick,I followed your way to set this option , But this problem also exit. So I think maybe the mud server send the time information every second or mashclint read the server 3 times per second? And show it real-time . As I couldn't attach this screenshot , I only copy some line in this post .

Perhaps send me a packet debug?

To do this, activate Edit menu -> Debug packets.

Then display the text in question. Then turn debugging off.

Copy and paste the results into a reply here.

OK, your MUD is sending ESC [ 256 D at the start of the prompt, which is "cursor back" 256 positions. Effectively that is putting the cursor at the start of the line.

The plugin below will change that to carriage-return which MUSHclient will recognise (providing you turn on the option I mentioned before) and then it should work.

Template:saveplugin=Cursor_Back_Fixup To save and install the Cursor_Back_Fixup plugin do this:
  1. Copy between the lines below (to the Clipboard)
  2. Open a text editor (such as Notepad) and paste the plugin into it
  3. Save to disk on your PC, preferably in your plugins directory, as Cursor_Back_Fixup.xml
  4. Go to the MUSHclient File menu -> Plugins
  5. Click "Add"
  6. Choose the file Cursor_Back_Fixup.xml (which you just saved in step 3) as a plugin
  7. Click "Close"

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE muclient>

end -- function

Hi Nick,One problem was overcome but another problem occur . I test 4 hours and guess a problem that maybe caused by this plugins(low probability) and choose the option "Carriage-return clears line"(high probability) . Now some(not all) room's Long_description couldn't display as be cleared. The room's short_description and exit_descripion is OK . I open the debug packet and record some information like below . The first display abnormally and the second display normally. If I turn off the "Carriage-return clears line" , The room's long_description can display correctly.
