Copy and paste is not working properly for me in and out of MUSHclient. If I C+P inside of MUSH, everything's fine, but I can't copy something from outside of MUSH and then paste it into MUSH or vice versa.

The clipboards are clearly still connected. If I copy something in Chrome and then copy something in MUSH, outside of MUSH, Ctrl + V will result in nothing, so clearly MUSH override the clipboard, I just can't paste it into anything but MUSH, and vice versa.

This is basically how MUSH is by default when I install it clean. If I install the Aardwolf MUSH Client package however, everything will be fine. But a few months ago, my client crashed. After that C+P:ing didn't work properly. Then it crashed again and C+P:ing worked properly. A 3rd crash had it not work properly. It's crashed a few times since with no change in how Clipboard works.

Interestingly, the crashes seem to change between save files, yet I cannot figure out where the 2nd save file is, as my triggers and aliases changed a bit (it switched into an earlier save, I believe) after the 1st crash and after the 2nd crash, any changed I'd done after the 1st crash were gone.

I have tried enabling and disabling all kinds of options and plugins an even reinstalling the Aardwolf MUSH package on top of my settings but nothing's working.

I don't know of anything inside MUSHclient that would control behavior like this. This sounds like an operating system issue. Are you running MUSHclient through Wine on a Mac? I know that there you have to switch between Ctrl and Cmd to copy/paste between inside Wine and outside of it.

I sent to recall something similar a while back caused by some third party product, nothing to do with MUSHclient, which interacts with copy/paste.

Possibly, but I can't for the life of me figure out what could be causing this. I don't have any 3rd party applications that somehow overrides C+P installed and even if I did, why would it affect only MUSHClient?

I don’t know either, to be honest. The client’s interaction with the clipboard is just using standard system calls.
