| | I play on a text/rp based world... and for some reason, whenever I try to use the command history, it doesn't work. I restarted the client, it works for a few lines, then it stops again. did I mess up a setting or something somewhere? Its supposed to keep 1k worth of history. It works for a bit, then doesn't. | | Top |

Can you clarify for us what you mean by "try to use" and "doesn't work"?
What are you doing, what is the expected result, and what is happening instead? |

Ah sorry, left it a bit vague. I'll type something into chat. Mostly just testing posts and such... but when I hit the up arrow on my keypad, it doesn't scroll through my commands. It shows nothing in the input/command history. I would expect there would be something in the command history. speaking, posting, that sort of thing. There's nothing. | | Top |

| It seems probably that the MUD sent down a "hide input" command when you typed your password, and that never got cancelled. Passwords are not saved in the command history.
See http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=9428 to see if that helps. |
